Dark Glow

My dorm this year is called “Jerry,” and the theme for this year ended up being “Stranjerry Things.” As part of the decorations, I made a glowing sign with a Teensy 3.2 and Adafruit Neopixels.
I laser-cut two sides out of acrylic, separated by standoffs. The faceplate has “Stranjerry Things” cut to look like the Stranger Things logo. The neopixels were mounted on this piece, and a piece of illusion film was mounted on the other side to add some interesting reflections. The Teensy controls the neopixels to gently move colors across the board.
